Our school garden is an extension to our classrooms where students can interact with nature and become engaged in their learning.
The processes of learning have much in common with gardening. We prepare the soil, plant the seeds and harvest the crops.
We hope to build a love for learning by not only growing fruits, vegetables and flowers but by helping to grow successful students.

sweet potato splices
Each class will be sprouting sweet potato splices in their classrooms to add to our Edible Garden or surrounding areas on Earth Day!
Teachers, I know some of your sweet potatoes are growing roots or sprouting! Post a picture to show the progress - we are excited to plant some on Earth Day!
I can not wait to see the vines begin to grow on my sweet potato!
